In other news, the Club has finished its relocation from Seattle, WA to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and oh, how we're loving the big city!

"Nine" release delayed; Southern Exposure; Adios Tunecore, hello CD Baby!
Throttle Body m/c is delaying the release of "Nine" to the world for the time being. The Club is busy relocating from Seattle, WA to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Other than the move south (Yes, Toronto is SOUTH of Seattle), the primary reason for the delay is that the club is ending its relationship with Tunecore, the distributor that has handled our releases since 2007. There will be a short blackout period in early August where you won't be able to buy our music or stream us on your favourite service whle we make a new home for all of our music with CD Baby. The good news in all this is that we will be reaching even more of the world than ever once we are live again. Watch this space for an update in August.

"Fun Forest" now available!
The Fuzz, with TBMC member for life, Rod Moody at the helm, has released "Fun Forest" to the world! It's a rockin' nine-song CD with a ton of bonus tracks available via download too! The sessions were produced by Rod and Jerry and have garnered some excellent feedback. Seattle producer-extrodinaire Jack Endino says of the release, "This shit's awesome...More please!" Find out how to buy a copy here.

It's all just noise at some level
Throttle Body m/c is proud to announce the imminent release of "Nine" to the world! The nine-song release will soon be available on iTunes worldwide, Rhapsody, Amazon, IMVU, lala, Napster and other online locations. This time around, the band gets all ambient on you - with nods to Eno and the Downtempo movement, it's all just noise at some level.

The full cover art gives you some insight as to how the songs themselves were created: city names were reconstructed into chord progressions that were then looped into song structures. Then, each song was recorded in a single session.

We hope you enjoy the latest from the greatest band that never was, but still is, Throttle Body (m/c)!

Jerry finishes sessions for The Fuzz and Green Handshake
Since May of 2010, Jerry has been at work with TBMC alumni Rod Moody, recording CDs for two of his bands, The Fuzz and Green Handshake. The results are in and sounding amazing. Check back here for information on when the releases will be available.

Throttle Body Blog
Okay - the blog has been a bit...neglected...but it's still around! Throttle Body-ology is the blog we created to share some of glorious muscial past of Jerry Hammack. Through this blog we're (still) hoping to meet the goal of presenting the demo and rehearsal tracks that evolved into the TBMC you know and love. Check it out and leave comments by all means!

Get digital!
